Protected Proceedings

The court process for establishing a Guardianship and/or Conservatorship requires filing the proper pleadings and attending hearings with the court. Whether petitioning for a guardianship and/or conservatorship over an adult who lacks capacity or cannot manage their financial affairs, or a minor who simply needs a guardian and/or conservator due to age, competent legal counsel will navigate petitioners the process efficiently. If the respondent does not have attorney representation, the court will often times appoint an attorney to represent the respondent. These cases are fairly involved as they affect a person’s civil liberties.
